Support Groups

Free online community connections for bereaved parents; bringing together those who suffer a pregnancy and or/ infant loss. All support groups are ran by trained facilitators who are all bereaved parents themselves.

Why join a support group?

The benefit of Peer Support Groups is the comfort and comradery resulting from knowing that everyone there has some experience with the issue at hand. It creates a non-judgmental atmosphere for people to be able to express their feelings and share their experiences with others who can relate.

In a support group, you can expect:

  • A safe, non-judgmental, welcoming space to share your story and emotions, with understanding, validation and support from others.

  • Connection with others, reducing the isolation that grief often causes.

  • A chance to learn about common grief myths and typical patterns and an understanding that there are many natural and acceptable ways to grieve.

  • Learning new coping strategies, relaxation techniques, stress management, and survival skills from fellow members.

  • Ideas for creating memories and observing important milestones or anniversaries.

  • A supportive space to discuss concerns, track progress, and receive help during setbacks or challenges in your grief journey.
